DARK CHOCOLATE COCONUT FROZEN BITES

In Dark chocolate , Quality dark chocolate is rich in fiber , iron, magnesium, copper, manganese and a few other minerals.
Cocoa and dark chocolate have a wide variety of powerful antioxidants. In fact, they have way more than most other foods.
The bioactive compounds in cocoa may improve blood flow in the arteries and cause a small but statistically significant decrease in blood pressure.
Dark chocolate improves several important risk factors for disease. It lowers the susceptibility of LDL to oxidative damage while increasing HDL and improving insulin sensitivity.
Observational studies show a drastic reduction in heart disease risk among those who consume the most chocolate.
Studies show that the flavanols from cocoa can improve blood flow to the skin and protect it from sun damage.
Cocoa or dark chocolate may improve brain function by increasing blood flow. It also contains stimulants like caffeine and theobromine.
Few things to know about xylitol sweetener,
Xylitol is a sugar alcohol that occurs naturally in some plants. Though it looks and tastes like sugar, it has 40% fewer calories.
Unlike sugar, xylitol has negligible effects on blood sugar and insulin levels. Animal studies indicate impressive benefits for metabolic health.
Xylitol can starve the harmful bacteria in your mouth, reducing plaque buildup and tooth decay. This can help prevent dental cavities and inflammatory gum diseases.
Xylitol-sweetened gum can reduce ear infections in children and combat candida yeast infections.

INGREDIENTS
1) 200 grams of dark chocolate
2) Left over grated coconut from coconut milk ( 1 1/4 cup)
3) Extra virgin coconut oil ( 6 tsp)
4) Xylitol sweetener(5 tsp)
Method of Preparation
Take a steel mixing bowl add all the grated coconut from which coconut milk has been prepared .
Into the same bowl add xylitol sweetener and extra virgin coconut oil. Mix all these ingredients.
3. Once its mixed well add this mixture into silicon cup cake moulds .Fill it up until it covers half of the mould.
4. Melt the dark chocolate using double boiler technique i have used Lindt dark chocolate
5. For the double boiler method fill half of the steel vessel with water keep it on high flame on top of it keep another vessel. Add all the dark chocolate pieces in the top vessel and keep mixing until the dark chocolate melts completely.
6. Add melted chocolate( 2 Tbsp) on top of coconut mixture in the silicon moulds.
7. In this way fill 11 silicon moulds , if the ingredients are taken according to given measurements it can fill upto 11 silicon cupcake moulds.
8. Keep all the moulds in freezer for upto 4 to 5 hours.
9. Once completely frozen , demould it by inverting it on top of a plate.
10. Always store them in freezer.
